Happy New Year!
As we start to settle into 2021 and get back into the swing of things, some things never change. I hope you had a great holiday season and have had a good start to the new year. Now that we're under more restrictions, we may not be able to get out and about as usual but we are finding new important ways to stay connected, loved and give back to our community.
This month we look ahead: what the real estate landscape will look like in the coming months and trends in home design we can look forward to. Interestingly, the real estate markets in the GTA were exceptionally busy in December. The number of home sales in Oakville was almost double what we saw in December 2019 and the average price in the Hamilton area was up over 25% year-over-year.
